Summer Solstice 2025,
We move off of one of the most BEaUtiful locations on Earth,
The “planet”, Maui.
We were gifted to spend nearly twenty years
Overlooking bicoastal views
From an elevation of 3000 feet.
During the years spent there,
We observed countless vividly coloured rainbows🌈,
And when the conditions were ideal,
That being full moon rising and light rainfall to the east,
With clear skies to the west,
The most spectacular of moon🌙 bows.
In fact, we had a veggie garden named, Moonbow,
Given the many sitings over that garden space.
We now call Boquete, Panamá, our home,
A quaint town surrounded by steeply rising hillsides,
Those which an expat from Boulder, Colorado
Describes as foliage-covered flatirons.
Boquete is woven with agriculture –
Farming, ranching, and café trees comprising the preponderance.
The land and the environment feel to be of a pristine quality here.
The homes are neat and tidy.
The roads were vastly improved over the past ten years
By the Panamanian government
With their intention to support tourism,
As they successfully have!
The cars seen driving these roads are mostly new and well maintained.
To look upon Boquete,
Is to feel the environment of a green Napa Valley
Crossed with the majesty of Boulder, Colorado
Topped with the cream of the Central Coast of California,
Imaged in the likeness of Beverly Hills, a century ago.

As our awareness of our appreciation for “pristine vs. progress” fills the hearts and minds of all sentients facing the earth today.. i hope our lived experience of true progress reflects restoration and refrain from further harm. i delight in this journey of common~unity w/ u all as we birth this new earth.
