Panamanian Swallow-Tailed Kite
I have been riding mi bicicleta 🚲
Through Grace, The Tierra,
Up her elevation,
Reminding my legs and body
Of the triathlete I once was.
At the onset of this training and re-membering,
I could barely peddle up a very slight incline,
As this body had not performed
Cardio in far too long!
Now, 4 months later,
This body rides up Grace with typically just one stop,
During which I walk Maria (mi bicileta’s name)
For a short distance given the rocky nature of that terrain
And the steep incline in this area,
Perhaps this stretch never to be rideable
By this nearly 68-year old youngin.
Maria and I then traverse a meandering dirt road
Above and behind Grace,
Climbing and declining,
As we shift through all 12 gears over the rolling terrain.
Beauty abounds
As Volcán Barú trumps the path,
Accompanying ever-present new,
Never-before-heard bird song,
A brilliant Blue Morpho butterfly🦋swoops nearby,
An iridescent green caterpillar joins my route,
A Swallow-Tailed Kite arcs overhead,
As I hear a meadowlark in the distance.
The deLicious aroma of fresh coffee beans🫘 roasting
Accompany my increased heart-rate as I peddle
Through wafts of aromatic deLights.
Riding Maria through Grace,
Eyeing the view while envisioning
Our home to-be
Having views ranging 180 degrees
Traversing North to South through the Eastern sunrise,
I feel the honor of nourishing this body
With a health-filled activity,
Strengthening all aspects of this body’s physicality,
While deeply satisfying the mind and soul
With the endless Beauty and solitude.
Such the gift
Grace is offering us:
A bike ride through her interior way,
Coffee trees abounding filled with cherry,
The fragrance of Grace’s harvest from last year being roasted,
An already-abundant garden thriving beyond our anticipation,
A growing Community residing upon her soils
Currently consisting of Knöbe,
And come Spring 2027,
General Manager, Arturo, and his sweet familia,
Followed by Us.
And then there’s that first house to be sold to those who have the
Eyes to see and the ears to hear,
As Grace heralds us to live within her amazing Beauty
Co-creating with her in a synergistic ontology,
Coming together as the 4th Density Community, We Are💫
